We will visit the Vai a Heva carving on the side of Maunga Vai A Heva hill, then we will see small caves with small Moai inside, we head to the top of Poike peninsula, we visit then Ahu Moai riki riki with small statues, then we head to the amazing Ana O Keke (cave of the virgins) places right in the cliff, with its amazing tubular entry & carved petroglyphs on the wall.

Terevaka Mount

Te Ara O Te Moai Trail - The Ancient Moai Transportation Highway

A short but interesting hike following one of the ancient highways used to transport the colossal Moai statues. This trail starts near Rano Raraku quarry (the quarry of the Moai), taking you towards the coastline, into the village where some statues were destined to arrive. Along the way you will find several Moai laying down, abandoned in the transportation process.
